It’s amazing what’s packed in the lives of each person no matter their age.
I’ve met people from all walks of life, from pilots, stuntmen and stuntwomen, and Fire Fighters to School Teachers, Secretaries, Janitors, and Servers at restaurants.
A clear picture is that a job does not define a person and that every individual has their own special story, their unique experiences and life lessons.
I recently wrote a biography of a woman, Maria Doest, who studied martial arts and later became a stuntwoman. Her career was only a part of her. She has a unique and inspiring story that revealed her true self through overcoming adversity.
A computer programmer , G.G., who had a quick wit and fun personality relayed to me a few of her unique life stores that were heartwarming, enjoyable, and full of life lessons.
We all live our lives, move on to the next, generations pass and stories are lost. So many of us wish we had written down our elders’ stories. Many of them are lost. I would love to sit down with my elders today and preserve their experiences, their stories.
I decided to create a way that would enable me to help people get their histories preserved in book or photo book form. That’s why I created “I’ll Write Your Story.”
I’ve designed books for young people just getting their feet wet, and I’ve created books for those with mega life experiences; all interesting, all important.
